Over his more than 30 years in the financial industry, John has always given comprehensive, straightforward advice for those clients with long term goals such as retirement or education and has gravitated to positions where he could work with and serve clients the best. He understands the impact successful financial management can have for his clients, today and into the future. Additionally, he has developed a specialty in helping his clients understand Medicare and Medicare Supplemental Plans. Helping clients with this transition and identifying solutions that will work for them, including ways to reduce healthcare costs and strategic plans for addressing out of pocket costs, are key.
John earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Christopher Newport University in 1983.
John and his wife met while training in the industry more than 30 years ago. The couple have two grown children and their first grandchild together. When he is not with his wife and family, John can be found golfing or taking part in other sports, or walking behind the lawn mower, one of his favorite places to think.
