Heidi Garofalo

Heidi joined the firm in May 2015. As the Chief Operations Officer, Heidi oversees compliance, coordinates the team of advisors and staff, manages key decisions at the firm, and is responsible for ensuring implementation on behalf of clients. She also sits on the Executive Committee.

A native of upstate New York, Heidi received a Bachelor of Science, Summa Cum Laude, in Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Prior to joining Colonial River, she, served as a Vice President for Five-Star Bank, a New York State Community Bank where she was a Regional Manager of Retail Sales and Business Development. Heidi was responsible for retail operations for 17 branches throughout upstate New York.  

Heidi was recognized in 2013 as an Athena Young Professional nominee for women leadership. Heidi's extensive banking background provides a great resource to our clients in understanding firsthand much of the retail banking world of lending, depository accounts, and daily transactional financial needs. Heidi's professional registrations held with LPL Financial include the Series 6 and 63 securities registrations. Heidi holds her Life & Health Licensing with the state of Virginia.  Heidi has held past and current leadership positions within her church congregation.  

Heidi's favorite hobbies are spending time with family, travel, watching sporting events, and interior decorating. Heidi resides in Midlothian with her husband Devin, and their children.
